2. Wheat can lag behind the digestive enzymes, especially those coming from pancreas. This leads to poor digestion of important food like protein and carbohydrates.
3. Poor digestion of protein can also impair amino acid absorption hence lead to problems like allergies.
4. Poor digestion of fat leads to poor skin health and hormonal imbalance.
5. Production of a high amount of insulin due to its amount of glycemic index. Its high amount of fat storage can lead to various health risks like diabetes, cancer and heart diseases.
6. Combining exercise with wheat consumption can facilitate the allergic reaction to most people. This is when you exercise regularly and use wheat as your diet.
7. High consumption of wheat sometimes is related to mental or emotional symptoms, including depression, mood swing, attention problems in children and anxiety.
8. Other health problems associated with higher consumption of wheat include diarrhea, belching and other abdominal discomfort.
9. Reduced mental focus, poor concentration and poor sleeping habits is also associated with wheat consumption.
